Reset & restore
Deep Cleaning cleaning.
When regular cleaning isn't enough. We move furniture, scrub grout, hand-wipe baseboards, deep-clean appliances and reach the corners standard cleaning misses.
From $10+ / room
What's included
Here's exactly what you get with Deep Cleaning.
- Hand-detailed baseboards, doors and switches
- Inside microwave, oven and refrigerator add-ons
- Tile, grout and shower deep-scrub
- 4–8 hours for an average home
What deep cleaning means
More than tidy. A full reset.
A standard clean keeps things looking sharp week to week. A deep clean tackles the stuff that builds up over months — the grime, the dust, the pet hair, the post-project mess.
Post-construction & remodels
Fine drywall dust, sawdust, paint splatter, and adhesive residue cleared from floors, trim, vents, and surfaces.
Pet hair & pet households
Hair removed from baseboards, vents, upholstery edges, and corners. Odor neutralized with pet-safe products.
Bathrooms — scrubbed, not wiped
Detailed scrubbing of tile grout, tub, shower glass, fixtures, and toilet base. Soap scum, hard water, and mildew handled.
Kitchens — top to bottom
Inside the oven, behind appliances, range hood degreased, cabinet fronts wiped, backsplash scrubbed.
Baseboards, vents & corners
Hand-wiped baseboards, dusted ceiling fans, AC vents, light fixtures, door frames — the spots that get skipped.
Move-in / move-out ready
A reset for an empty home so the next tenant or owner walks into a clean space — inside cabinets, drawers, and closets.

The checklist
What a 10 Bucks a Room deep clean covers.
Every deep clean follows the same room-by-room checklist. No surprises, no items silently skipped to save time.
- Baseboards, door frames, and window sills — hand-wiped, not dusted
- Inside the oven, microwave, and behind the range hood
- Inside the refrigerator (shelves emptied, wiped, restocked)
- Inside kitchen cabinets and drawers (on request)
- Tile and grout scrubbed — bathroom floors, showers, and backsplashes
- Shower doors descaled — soap scum and hard water removed
- Toilet base, behind toilet, and wax ring area scrubbed
- Ceiling fans, light fixtures, vent covers, and HVAC returns dusted
- Inside windows and window tracks (interior side)
- Furniture edges and underneath light furniture
- Closets vacuumed and shelves wiped
- All floors mopped or vacuumed — corners and edges by hand
Deep vs standard
Side-by-side comparison.
A standard clean keeps a home in maintenance shape. A deep clean resets it. Most homes need one deep clean every 90 – 120 days, with bi-weekly standards in between.

Room by room
What the crew actually does in each room.
Kitchen (45 – 60 min on a deep)
Range hood pulled and degreased. Stovetop grates soaked in the sink while burners are scrubbed. Oven cleaned with a low-VOC oven cleaner — 20-minute dwell time. Fridge emptied shelf by shelf, wiped, and gaskets cleaned. Inside the microwave steamed and wiped. Backsplash scrubbed by hand. Cabinet fronts wiped with wood-safe cleaner.
Bathroom (30 – 45 min per bath)
Tile grout scrubbed with peroxide paste. Shower glass descaled with oxalic acid cleaner — soap scum and hard water lifted. Tub/shower walls scrubbed corner to corner. Toilet base and the wax ring area cleaned (the spot most cleaners skip). Exhaust vent cover removed and washed. Mirror, faucet, and counter polished. Floor mopped edges-in.
Bedrooms (15 – 20 min each)
Ceiling fan blades wiped. Light fixtures dusted. Window sills hand-wiped. Baseboards by hand. Light furniture moved to vacuum underneath. Closet floor vacuumed and shelves wiped. Linens stripped and remade if fresh ones are left out.
Living areas (25 – 35 min)
Upholstery vacuumed (cushions removed, crumbs and pet hair from the deck). Under-couch and under-coffee-table vacuumed. TV and electronics dust-wiped. Bookshelves dusted (individual items, not just the top). Floor mopped or vacuumed edges-in.

Before & after
What you can realistically expect.
What a deep clean WILL do
- Eliminate visible soap scum, hard water rings, and pink mildew in bathrooms.
- Cut indoor dust load by 60 – 80% for at least 3 weeks.
- Make a home photo-ready for listing or guest arrival.
- Restore shine on stainless steel and chrome fixtures.
- Pull out 6 – 12 months of buildup most homeowners no longer notice.
What it WON'T do
- Remove permanent stains in old grout (sealing is a separate service).
- Repair scratched hardwood or stained carpet — that's restoration, not cleaning.
- Eliminate odors caused by HVAC, plumbing, or structural moisture.
- Remove mineral pitting from chrome that's already corroded.
- Reorganize closets and storage (see our organizing service).
What to do AFTER
- Run a daily 60-second tidy in the bathroom (squeegee, wipe).
- Switch to bi-weekly standards to lock in the reset.
- Replace the AC filter the day after — old filter recirculates old dust.
- Schedule the next deep clean for 90 – 120 days out.
- Take 'after' photos. Studies show 92% of people maintain a clean home better when they have a visual baseline.
