Non-medical support
Non-Medical Senior Assistance
Most seniors don't need a nurse. They need a reliable helping hand — someone to keep up with errands, drive them to appointments, tidy the house, and make sure they have company during the week. That's exactly what non-medical senior assistance is built for.
What non-medical means
We do not provide nursing care, medication administration, bathing, dressing, personal care, home healthcare, memory care, or medical supervision. If your loved one needs any of those services, they need a licensed home healthcare agency — and we'll happily say so up front.
What we do is everything around the medical care: companionship, errands, grocery shopping, transportation to appointments, laundry, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and home organization. It's the practical day-to-day support that helps a senior stay independent in their own home.
Why families choose non-medical assistance
Home healthcare is expensive, clinical, and often more than what's actually needed. Many seniors push back on the idea of a 'caregiver' because it implies they can't take care of themselves.
Non-medical assistance is different. It feels like having a helpful neighbor stop by — someone to run errands with, ride to the doctor with, or sit and have coffee with. The dignity stays intact, the home stays familiar, and the family gets real peace of mind.
How to know which service fits
If your loved one can manage their own personal care but the household and errands are slipping, non-medical assistance is the right fit. If they need help with bathing, dressing, medication, or any kind of clinical care, a licensed home healthcare agency is the right fit. The two services can coexist — many families combine a few hours of clinical home care per week with regular non-medical visits.
